P.V.A. Plastik Ventil Armaturen GmbH was founded in 1966 in Willich-Neersen and has since established itself as a leading specialist in high-quality valve solutions. The company’s origins trace back to the implementation of an innovative invention – the world's first automatic poultry drinking system. By acquiring the traditional Düsseldorf-based company Carl Aug. Rothstein, renowned for patented WC flushing valves, the foundation for sustained success was laid.
Since then, PVA has delivered millions of float valves made from brass and high-quality plastic components to the sanitary sector, agricultural industries, and numerous other economic sectors.
The patented PVA compact float valves further enhance the product portfolio, setting new standards in terms of compactness, reliability, and efficiency – perfectly tailored to meet the high demands of our customers.

Due to continuous growth, a business expansion with relocation to Tönisvorst became necessary in 1991.
Under the management of shareholder and managing director Christoph Mombers, production was continually modernized and the product range expanded.
Jan Mombers joined as the second managing director in mid-2022. Another significant milestone was reached at the beginning of 2023, with production and warehouse facilities moving to a modern company building in Kempen.
This location benefits from its proximity to Düsseldorf and excellent infrastructure, enabling reliable and "just in time" deliveries throughout Europe.
In 2024, today's PVA Schwimmerventile GmbH was founded, acquiring all assets and the know-how of P.V.A. Plastik Ventil Armaturen GmbH effective from January 1, 2025. Jan Mombers now leads this traditional family business into the future as the sole shareholder and managing director of the third generation.
